Get Lost.

Ever deliberately lost yourself in a foreign city?

Submerging yourself into challenges and the unknown can reap an extensive array of personal rewards in various aspects.

By nature, humans take solace in clinging to any conformity and security present in their lives.

It’s safer, and easier, to ‘follow the map.’

But taking risks are quintessential to constant personal growth.

The simple notion of discarding direction or ‘letting go’, even momentarily, can often be difficult to execute. The underlying fears in the 'what if’s’ can be self-impeding.

When, or if, this notion is achieved with a mindful manner, we can allow ourselves to experience blissful, inspiring and rewarding repercussions.

We take risks every day of our lives in decisions that we consciously and unconsciously make.

Whether it’s getting on a train, car, or plane to get to a destination, performing, preparing a meal, getting married, crossing the road, sky diving, hosting a party… We can find fear and risk in almost anything we do, if we choose to.

With mindfulness and consciousness, it is imperative to let go, face fears and take risks. To step outside our comfort zones, to try new things, to forget what others may say or think of you; to believe and to trust in yourself, your ability and your capability.

In this, we open ourselves to experiences, learning, and understanding, and thus, empowerment, inspiration, change, and growth.

We can allow ourselves to constantly live to our fullest potential during our time we have in the gift of life. It is important to remember that it's not forever.

So, do everyone a favour (including yourself), and ‘get lost.’©
